Worth mentioning at least is that you can summon a Ride Armor if you find the special platform that lets you summon one. I think you can also get this if you didn't get any armor parts too? In X3, there are a bunch of interesting ways to go about playing the game:ġ- If you defeat Bit and Byte should you encounter them in the 8 stages, you will fight a different boss during the final stagesĢ- If you don't defeat Bit and Byte, you fight their combined formģ- If you defeat Vile before the final stages, you get the chance of getting a very powerful charged shotĤ- X3 has Enhancement Chips for his armor, but IIRC you can only have 1 chip equipped and each chip offered a different benefitĥ- If you don't get any of the Enhancement chips, you can get the Hyper Chip during the final levels that turns your armor into Gold. My memory of X2 is pretty hazy but the one thing I remember is that the final stage and ending is affected by whether you got the Zero parts or not before doing the final stage. In X1, some stages change if a specific boss is defeated prior to entering it, for example, defeating Chill Penguin will eliminate some of the hazards in flame Mammoth's stage.
